“The Postman” is, for me, the figure who once brought the world closer, before messages became instant and silent.
In “The Postman,” I see the man with a bag full of letters, crossing streets, courtyards, and neighborhoods,
carrying in his hands envelopes filled with joy, worry, farewells, and returns.
His small horn echoed like a promise that “something is coming for you.
” His work was demanding, endless steps, rain, and sun.
He did not simply deliver envelopes; he carried voices from people who were missed.
And though these figures have faded with time, they remain within us forever in our hearts.
