ABOUT
Antonia Iroidou is a contemporary artist whose creative journey is deeply intertwined with art in all its forms. She began with music, studying both in Greece and abroad, at the Conservatorium Luzern in Switzerland and the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover in Germany. Painting became her second great passion, coexisting harmoniously with music. Her profound need for creative expression eventually led her to Digital Art, which she embraced with enthusiasm and curiosity, continuously exploring its expressive potential.
Her work is defined by a human-centered and culturally inspired approach. Central themes in her artistic practice include history, Greek heritage, heroes, and monuments. She has particularly distinguished herself through works inspired by ancient Greek history, mythology, and identity, reinterpreting timeless symbols of Greece through a contemporary artistic lens.
She focuses on the relationship between individuals and the environments that shape them — from their roots and family to their natural and cultural surroundings. Her inspiration often springs from childhood memories, nature, the universe, and contemporary cultural discourse.
Her portfolio includes both solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. One of her works was featured in the five-year anniversary issue of GALA magazine (published by PROTO THEMA newspaper), while her artworks have also been showcased by SAMSUNG GREECE.
