THE MEETING AT THE PARTHENON
In The Meeting at the Parthenon, Karaghiozis and the Vizier’s Daughter meet before the sacred monument, in a scene where folk tradition embraces the ancient ideal.
The Meeting at the Parthenon weaves a dialogue between light and shadow, humor and poetry, satire and sanctity. The two figures, seemingly opposite, embody the living soul of Greek culture,
where the humble and the monumental coexist naturally. Through the fusion of classical architecture and folk storytelling, I explore our relationship with cultural heritage, not as something static,
but as a living force of creation. Here, art becomes an act of reinterpretation, a celebration of light, memory, and tradition.
